Established in 1985, ITI Cinema was the first company to legally distribute home-video products in Poland. In 1990, ITI Cinema expanded its activities by adding theatrical distribution to its portfolio. Today ITI Cinema as a separate unite is active exclusively in theatrical distribution. The company for the past years is a leading distributor of Polish movies but its portfolio also includes international productions from a number of independent studios. ITI Cinema not only distributes the Polish feature films but has become active in their procuction and has frequently been a co-producer. ITI Cinema is today part of Multikino, which had the effect of combining production, distribution and exhibition activities under one roof. As a part of the ITI Group, ITI Cinema profits from direct access to the extensive resources provided by the other ITI Group’s companies such as TVN and its various thematic channels as well as Polish leading internet portal, Onet.pl.
