The ITI Group has been organizing internship programs in cooperation with the Polish Business Roundtable for several years. A 2 to 3 month-long internship training in TVN, Onet, Multikino, ITI Corporation and ITI Neovision secures that each intern is assigned his own tutor and follows an agreed program. The program usually includes a specialist training based on a student’s education and interests. The ITI Group aims to acquire the best interns, and during their internship provide the training enabling a student to become a potential future employee. Recruitment for the internship program takes place between April and June. Besides the above mentioned internship program, within the framework of the PRB program, the ITI Group also organizes a few dozen of specialist internship programs conducted by its companies.
If you plan to apply for the internship program:
- In preparation to a recruitment interview think of the goals you would like to achieve during the internship. What skills would you like to gain? Which departments and places in the company would you like to explore? The internship program includes the scope of responsibilities on one side, and training activities on the other side. It is up to interns how much they will profit from the program. The ITI Group tends to grant the internship to candidates who are clear about their expectations.
- Try to obtain as much information about the company where you would like to be an intern as possible. It is worth knowing the main areas of the company’s activities, its key recent projects, products, clients and competitors, as well as to have your own idea of upgrading services and products of the respective company.
- Bring your application and references consisting of documents and samples of your work to the interview. If you are trying to get a job as a journalist or an operator it is a good idea to think about taking materials, articles or graphic designs you’ve created so far. If you have some certificates or references, do not forget to bring them too.
- Make a list of questions to which you would like to have answered.
- If you are still a student, double check your schedule so that you can clearly define your availability. Think about what kind of solutions you can offer if your schedule is a limiting factor.
- Think about the skills you declared in your resume or questionnaire. A few tasks, such as using an Excel spreadsheet or Power Point, may be a part of the recruitment process. If you said that you know foreign languages, you may expect a part of the interview being conducted in the other language.
- During the interview, don’t be afraid to reveal what you don’t know . Your idea of how to prepare for the internship to overcome your shortcomings, and willingness to learn are far more important.
- Stress is an inherent part of the recruitment process. The ITI Group’s recruitment officers are perfectly aware of it and try to avoid such situations in which it could affect an assessment of your skills and talents. They will greet you kindly and with a smile because they remember they used to be in your shoes.
