TVN Med

TVN Med, launched on 19.10.2006, is Europe's only educational platform consisting of 24-hour television channel complemented by a professional internet portal www.tvnmed.pl dedicated exclusively to medical doctors. The purpose of TVN Med is to provide a comprehensive knowledge and up to date medical information enabling Polish physicians to fulfill their further professional development duty. TVN Med is Poland's first medium accredited by the Polish Chamber of Physician and Dentists enabling the platform to conduct educational activities and award doctors with a certain number of educational points. TVN Med offers an interactive supplement education of highest standards and takes a full advantage of the possibilities provided by digital television, internet and mobile telephony.

The programming offer of TVN Med is created under the supervision of the Programming Board composed of top managers representing the most important institutions of Polish medical education system. Programs are produced by TVN Med editorial teams consisting of medics and reviewed and approved before broadcast by one of the professors from TVN Med Academic Board.

TVN Med channel is available on the digital platform "n" . General practitioners are provided with a decoder, antenna set, installation, activation and subscription free of charge. Doctors of other specialization can activate TVN Med through the digital platform "n" according to its commercial offer and receive free subscription.
