TVN Lingua

Poland's first 24-hour educational channel dedicated to viewers who want to learn a foreign language or improve their existing language skills. TVN Lingua targets active and ambitious people considering education as a basis for their professional life. TVN Lingua provides linguistic knowledge in a pleasant, attractive and entertaining way by using latest technologies and modern learning methods.

TVN Lingua’s programming offer features both foreign and domestic programs. The channel’s in-house production includes: “Chatter Box” - an interactive format giving viewers an opportunity to discuss in English, to understand the meaning of various words and to overcome grammar difficulties, “Hit the Bank!” - an interactive format whereby viewers engage in word games and expand their vocabulary, and “Lesson with a star” - a program featuring celebrity interviews. Other in-house productions are: “Zabawy z jezyczkiem”- a night show around English grammar with an erotic context, “Party to learn” - a program hosted by DJ Carlto providing the translation of music hits and an English dictionary cartoon,“Anti-Digtionary” hosted by a friendly “Anteater”.

TVN Lingua broadcasts English language courses and is planning to expand its offer to include German, French, Italian and Spanish courses in the near future.

The channel works in close cooperation with leading language experts of the Language Centre Berlitz and Oxford University Press.
