Discovery Historia

Discovery Historia, a joint venture between the TVN Group and Discovery Networks, is a 24-hour thematic channel launched on 15 November 2006. Discovery Historia is a modern format documentary channel bringing a fresh view on and an innovative approach to history. Featuring both local as well as foreign productions the channel covers a wide range of history related programs and military subjects in an interesting and comprehensive manner. The programs are arranged in several thematic divisions such as "after the war", "made in Poland", "war of nerves", "miracles of the ancient times", "events which changed the world", "the best of", and "testosterone". Discovery Historia seeks to change the perception on history television in Poland by delivering a program offer which is stimulating, dynamic and tailored to individual tastes and needs. The cooperation of two leading brands with a well established position on their respective markets and experience deliver the highest level of entertainment to Polish audiences.
