n, the new generation television

n, launched on 12 October 2006 is Poland's most advanced television offering combining a unique program line-up with the latest technology bringing a new television to Polish households.

The program offer is grouped into seven thematic packages: "news and entertainment", "styles, fashion, music", "children", "cinemax", "sports and cars", "culture, science, world" and "film hits". The "news and entertainment" package including the most popular Polish and foreign general-viewing and news channels (such as TVN, TVN24 and more than 200 other channels from around the globe) is available free of charge, whereby prices of the other packages range from PLN 10.00 to PLN 16.00 per package.

n uses for its Set Top Boxes the latest technology and is Poland's first platform to offer high definition television broadcasts. The high end Set Top Box, launched on 17 November 2006, features a Personal Video Recorder and allows the subscription to Video on Demand bringing a change to the personal television consumption possibilities.

Some of the channels available within n's packages are new to Poland such as: Baby TV - safe television for the 3 year old and younger; TVN Lingua - dedicated to viewers who want to learn a foreign language; Discovery Historia - documentary channel offering an innovative approach to historical subjects; Discovery HD - the only global high definition television network; War and Peace - a channel featuring current and classic Russian cinema, and nsport - Poland's first 24-hour sport channel transmitted entirely in a HD system.

The distribution network of the new generation television comprises of more than 1500 retail points across Poland and a state of the art customer telephone helpdesk.
