25.02.2010 - TVN Group, the leading opinion-maker in 2009 among televisions and Internet portals.
According to the Media Monitoring Institute, three TVN Group channels: TVN24, TVN and TVN CNBC Biznes were among the five leading opinion-making television stations in 2009. Onet.pl and TVN24.pl ranked first and second respectively, far ahead of any Internet portal. TVN24 was acknowledged to be the most opinion-forming television channel in Poland in 2009. The first Polish 24-hour news channel was quoted by other media 6358, recording a significant increase when compared to 4792 quotations in 2008. The TVN channel, quoted 1951 times ranked second and TVN CNBC Biznes, quoted 841 times, was fourth the most opinion-making source in Poland.The position of an unquestionable leader in the Internet belongs to Onet.pl with 2107 quotations. For the first time our TVN24.pl news vortal, quoted in other media 1208 times, was second most opinion-making Internet source. Furthermore TVN24 and TVN were the only television channels to be ranked the "15 most opinion-making media" ranking. TVN24 ranked fourth and TVN twelfth. Onet.pl with its tenth rank was the only Internet portal placed in the ranking. Media Monitoring Institute analysed 99876 media messages, which appeared in 900 press titles, selected TV and radio stations and numerous internet sources, between January 1st and December 31st, 2009.

06.01.2010 - TVN Group announces strong performance of its pay-tv platform "n" in 2009.
TVN's digital platform "n" acquired 300 thousand new subscribers in 2009, reaching the total number of 697'000 subscribers at the end of 2009. In the same time the number customers of the prepaid television "TnK" (Telewizja na Karte) grew by 101'000 and amounted to 440'000. "I am pleased with the accelerated growth of both the subscription and the prepaid segment. With this strong result we make a significant step forward in further diversifying our revenue streams. Our customers are choosing our services due to the leading high definition content offer and our technological excellence. The gained momentum forms a solid basis for further growth in 2010 and beyond." - stated Markus Tellenbach, TVN Group President and CEO.

05.01.2010 - Fakty - Poland's most popular news show in 2009.
TVN Group announced the audience share results for 2009. In 2009 Fakty, TVN's prime time news show recorded an average audience share of 31.7% outpacing for the first time its main competitor, Wiadomo¶ciTVP (31.2%), and becoming the most popular news bulletin in Poland. On a year on year basis Faktyrecorded an impressive market share growth of 1.2 percentage point, while Wiadomo¶ci in the same period lost 1.9 percentage points. In 2009 TVN channel in its key target group - the most demanding and attractive audience from an advertisers' perspective - maintained its market leadership position outpacing its competitors. Despite a significantly lower technical coverage when compared to its main competitors (89% of households in Poland), TVN was in 2009 the second most widely watched television channel in peak time and on an all day basis. TVN channel, by recording the most converged results when compared to 2008, proved to be the most resilient of all main television channels in Poland to the market fragmentation trend.
