Pascal is Poland's leading publisher of travel guides and a major supplier of maps and road atlases, capturing over 50% of the travel book and over 20% of the cartography market.
The range of Pascal's publications include over 300 titles within various travel guide series and over 200 cartography products including maps, city plans, road maps, atlases, geography albums and dining guides. Since 1996 Pascal gathers data on Poland's tourist infrastructure and provides such information to governmental and non-governmental institutions alike. In the years 2001 to 2003 Pascal has been asked by the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs to create the promotional material on Poland prior to Poland's accession to the European Union. GUIDES
Each of Pascal's guides is targeted to a well defined customer group and Pascal designs the structure and content of the guide to the target's group particular needs. Pascal's "Practical Guides" are divided into two main series: Guides to Poland and Guides to the World. They are addressed to the individual traveler, who seeks detailed information on accommodation, sightseeing, dining and other places of interest to the traveler.
Around the World are travel guides, which are modern, colorful, well structured and handy and perfect for people traveling for pleasure and to relax, who like comfort and are limited by time.
Weekend Guides are generally aimed at hard-working professionals, who want to spend a short vacation or a weekend and in an interesting way. The main title of this series reached a circulation over 250'000. Its Sixth, 2007 edition includes a little case and an annex with description of 12 routes.
Guides for the Active FAN are aimed at people who want to spend their holiday in an active and original way. These guides are intended for fans of hiking, diving, sailing, canoeing and cycling trips.
Illustareted Guides around Europe are a new, original series by Pascal. The guides are structured and designed to enhance travel planning.
Pocket Guides are literarly and figuratively for every pocket. These little books can be packed even into a very full suitcase.
Marco Polo, the series of pocket-sized guides created for people traveling with a tour group or who are on a business trip.
Marco Polo International Maps and Atlases, the series is designed based on the comments and suggestions of European users resulting in high functionality and practicality.
Especially dynamically developing series are illustrated thematic guides consisting of two title groups; guides dedicated to culture and history and guides directed to a particular group of readers, such as families with children or people in love.
ILLUSTRATED BOOKS
Pascal's offer includes illustrated albums of various subjects such as: travel, sightseeing, history, which are written by specialists in their fields. The most recommendable are: album "Polska z nieba" ("Poland from the Sky") and series "Trzy epoki" ("Three Epochs").
